My Students

Don't you like to enjoy a good book every once in a while?

My students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

Many families are struggling to meet the day to day needs of their child. Many students do not have access to any books at home. Many of my students have never been to the local library and most do not even own a library card.

My Project

Our classroom has no library or anything to help it be organized. I currently have a classroom full of amazing 4th graders who would enjoy a good book. I would prefer not to have they searching through boxes to find a book either. I would like them to have a variety of books that may interest all of them. I want them to be excited to read and finish their work and go to our classroom library and find a book they enjoy!

Donating to this project will give my students the resources they will need to get books into their hands.

It will help them be more creative and excited about reading. It may even get them to the local library to borrow books from there!
