Help Ms. D'Amato

I am a second-grade teacher in the East New York section of Brooklyn. All of my students receive free school lunch. Last school year I received a chair for my students through DonorsChoose, and it has been a smashing success. This chair is from Ikea\'s children\'s line of furniture, and is called PS Lomsk. It\'s shaped like a capsule with a pull-down flap, which provides students with a quiet place to settle down with a good book. The flap does not block the light out, so students can comfortably read even with the flap down. I rotate \"chair privileges\" on a daily basis. Good behavior and effort is a student\'s ticket to using the chair during independent reading time. Of course, on most days I usually have more than one student who is deserving of this privilege. I would like two additional chairs for my classroom, so that more students can be accommodated at any given time. This will increase students\' reading enjoyment, while also providing an additional incentive for students to work hard and be well-behaved. Thank you for considering this proposal for two red PS Lomsk chairs from Ikea.
