My Students

Do you remember reading about the lives of famous people when you were in school? Well, my students have not had that opportunity yet!

We are a class of 7th and 8th grade special needs students in an inner city.

We all have various reading abilities and don't have the resources to meet all our needs. We will soon be studying biographies in our class and would love to have resources at our fingertips.

My Project

Our class would like to have 3 different sets of biographies for use in our reading class. Wouldn't it be great to learn about famous people? This will inspire us to do better. It will also raise our self esteem by being able to read a book on our level.

Through your donation we will be able to learn from the past and move into the future.

It will greatly benefit us this year and will also benefit other classes in the years to come.
