During COVID, our school eliminated the science textbook from the classroom. There is a digital collection of videos, however, the written word in the textbook is a few paragraphs per topic. Due to this, there is a lot of outside work required to find texts that help reinforce concepts.
Your donations will help our students get access to a variety of articles and activities to help foster reading and writing skills.
Reading and writing are skills that every student needs to develop in every classroom. By having articles to replace the textbook, students can practice those skills year round.
