My Students

Help us make our reading and writing projects come to life. We love to share our ideas and projects with others. With these craft supplies we can make many fun and exciting projects.

My class has 32 fourth graders.

My school is located in a high poverty area of Queens. We are a title one school and all of our children get free lunch and breakfast. Many of my students are English as a Second Language learners. They love to learn new things and share their ideas with others.

My Project

We can not wait to create projects such as posters, books and puppets using craft supplies. We also love to watch videos and take pictures and can preserve them using blank discs. With the colored paper we can create exciting posters and books. The Popsicle sticks and glue will help make fun puppets and allow for us to act out different skits from the books we read. With a project at the end of a unit it creates excitement about reading a book or studying a specific genre.

Help reading and writing come alive in my classroom.

With these basic supplies we will be able to make many projects and share our love of reading and writing with many other children and parents. Thank you for your help.
