My Students

My school is a highly diverse Title 1 school that serves many different kids from different backgrounds and countries. Although we serve Vanguard or gifted and talented, a lot of our students are economically disadvantaged background.

We work really hard to improve and encourage students to improve their reading levels and their math skills.

My students live using manipulative, funny books, and games that help them learn. They love hearing a great book with good story elements and illustrations to see!!!

My Project

This will help create fun station activities that the kids can learn from while working with their peers. Students can sit and listen to stories while they follow along and learn words.

The manipulatives will help me create engaging lessons, that will be memorable to them.

Students can work with their peers to help and scaffold each other's learning.

By using manipulative and using leveled books students can be in charge of their learning. The leveled books will help them to see where they are in reading and whereally they need to be. The books will help them improve their comprehension.
