My students are no longer able to go to school in the traditional sense. All of my students are trying to cope and learn from home. Because many of my students come from low income households, this leads to a big challenge. We are trying to do lessons online with resources that are provided by the school, but my students could use more than the computer that is provided.
My Project
I want my students to read while at home and learning. I would like to get the class a class book to read altogether. I would like to get something they would all enjoy. The new book, Diary of An Awesome Friendly Kid, is a funny book that some of the kids could relate to. We have also read some of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books during the school year this year. It would time it altogether for us to wrap up the school year.
I am also asking for some Math Dice Jr.
game sets so the kids can practice some of their metal math strategies. Since the kits are small, they can work with them anywhere they are and can take them with them places if they go any where.
