My Project

My students are very curious and have a love for graphic novels. Graphic novels are a great way to get reluctant readers to enjoy reading time. They also love learning and applying skills through read alouds. These books will give them more opportunities to read what they enjoy and to build their background knowledge. We read everyday and students enjoy book selection time. This will give them more books to choose from. Many of the picture books will be used to practice reading skills as a class and then apply it to their learning.
