Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a Title I school and my students are excited to explore, to learn, and to broaden their horizons just to be given the opportunities that other children take for granted.

My students are sons and daughters of first-generation immigrants who struggle sometimes to find the right path to success but they put forth maximum effort when given the right motivation.

They are unique in the sense that they are high achievers, despite facing the typical immigrant population challenges. Our overwhelming Hispanic population needs support, but, given the right tools, will perform at a high level.

My Project

These miscellaneous materials will ensure that we can collect devices and charge them and also be able to hear the lesson throughout the classroom. The Apple iPod touch will be replacing some of our older devices that are obsolete. The cables will ensure that the devices are ready and charge for my students to use throughout the different platforms and applications that we use such as Kahoot, Quizizz, Quizlet and Nearpod.

These devices and tools will be key in having the classroom ready for interactive activities that enhance the lessons and hence the educational experience to all my students.

My students are eager and ready to use all these miscellaneous devices but oftentimes the devices' batteries are quickly drained and so a charging station will be very helpful to charge and organize the devices so they are readily available to all my students when they need to explore and interact with the lessons through and digital platforms that we to bring excitement to our lessons.
