This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Building a well-stocked classroom library can be transformative for my students' education. The books I’m requesting will not only provide access to a wide range of genres, cultures, and perspectives but also foster a love of reading and critical thinking skills. My goal is to create an inclusive, engaging space where students can explore literature that reflects their own experiences and opens their eyes to new ideas and possibilities. What makes my students truly special is their curiosity, resilience, and eagerness to learn, despite the challenges they may face. By investing in these books, you’re giving them the tools and inspiration to grow academically and personally, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
