My Project

These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. I have watched been watching my students during their independent reading time, and I have also asked them what type of books they would enjoy reading.

These new books, will allow my students to choose from a larger variety of titles, and this will increase their excitement when given the opportunity to read independently.

These new titles will give the students more options to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger as readers. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.

The other items on my wish list would be icing on the cake. I like to have extra socks in my room for students that forget to put them on before they leave home. I want my students to feel comfortable and warm throughout the day. The delicious candy will be shared during silent reading time. And finally, the pop-its, and jibbitz are for our prize box. The students look forward to going to the prize box on Friday afternoon. After a successful week of school I like to reward them for their efforts.
