This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Reader's Theaters are a research-based way to help students with reading fluently. These specific Reader's Theaters will help students master and understand our social studies and science standards. Reader's Theaters are engaging way to practice reading for students who would otherwise avoid reading altogether. These scripts will be used during our reading intervention time.

Reader's Theaters incorporate multiple learning modalities including the perform arts, movement, reading, visualization, and auditory processing.

I teach at a Title I school in rural Utah. Our students are 34% English language learners, 65% economically disadvantaged, and 100% deserving of the best education!
