Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go," Dr. Seuss said and my students apply this quote in my classroom and read everyday to reach new places.

My students live a hard life and they look for comfort in books.

These students live a life of poverty and go through more then I ever thought was possible. Growing up these students are faced with crime, lack of money, and they should be able to get away from all of this in the classroom.

My Project

Providing my students with books, the Tag learning system, and bean bag chairs will allow them to explore and learn new ideas through books. My class has students of all abilities. The chapter books will allow the higher students to expand their reading skills. For those struggling students the Tag learning system will allow them to have books read to them while practicing comprehension.

Please help my students continue to grow and explore new concepts through books.

Supporting this project will allow my students to continue reading and to be able to read comfortably in the classroom library. A great book will allow students to have a life of experiences!
