Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is filled with 24 eager, excited and motivated learners that are more than ready to take a deep dive into the world of reading.

Currently, our classroom library is in need of different texts that will help my students achieve their reading comprehension goals and nurture their love of literacy.

In third grade, students are learning to differentiate between genres. They are also expanding their reading comprehension. By having more variety in our classroom library, my students will be able to grow their reading comprehension from a literal understanding to a deeper meaning understanding.

With your help, students will have the opportunity to have a book baggy with independent reading books at their desk at all times! In addition, there will be enough books for students to rotate them and take them home and back to school!
