My Project

Reading is essential in life. Many students struggle to put sounds together to read basic words. There are many middle school students who struggle to read textbooks, homework, and even words on menus. If students can gain reading skills, their lives will change for the better. Some students exhibit behaviors to divert peers from realizing their lack of reading skills.

If we can give students basic reading skills, we can change their world.

The goal of this project is to give students books that will enhance their skills. These books will give confidence in books with CVC words, teach words with long vowels and blends, increase their knowledge of these words in content areas. Increasing the reading skills of students will increase paths to success by enhancing their knowledge and decrease behaviors in classrooms. My students are special just because! Everyone deserves an opportunity to learn to read. Please join us on our journey of success.
