This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When students are young, they learn to read. In fifth grade, we read to learn. Many times, students this age would rather not read and/or read something that they have already read.

Reading a good book has become a thing of the past, but I hope to instill a love and passion for the art of reading great books in my students!

I plan to organize my classroom library by genres using these book bins and to continue with the 40 Book Challenge this upcoming school year. With the library neatly organized by genre, it will make it easier for students to locate a book to meet the requirements of the challenge.
