My Project
The goal of this project is to have copies of all the 2023-2024 Louisiana Young Readers' Choice books available for our students to check out from the library.
The purpose of the Louisiana Young Readers' Choice program is to foster a love of reading in the children of Louisiana.
Every year librarians from across the state read and select titles that will be presented throughout the school year. These books often include characters, settings, and issues that are relevant in the lives of the children of Louisiana. During the school year the students read the selected books, share ideas, and talk about storylines and characters. At the end of the year the books will be given away as prizes.
