Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come into class ready to learn each day! They are excited to do their best and want to read each day. This project is intended to give my students the reading materials and classroom supplies that they need to continue their journey into being proficient readers and writers.

This project will give my students a variety of leveled books, hands on manipulatives and a cooperative learning space to work on phonics skills.

These materials are important to my class as they give the opportunity for hands on learning opportunities with their peers which they missed during distance learning. My students love to read and are always asking for more books to practice the phonics skills we are learning in class. The project will also help to provide support to those students who need additional learning assistance due to impact the pandemic had on their learning.
