Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are lovers of learning. Learning ignites their minds and leaves them wanting to know more every day.
These students come from a low socioeconomic background, and we are a Title I school which means that students receive free or reduced lunch.
These students come to school every day with a desire to learn and grow. They have many different learning styles and need resources to help them reach their various learning goals.
Despite the challenges they face, they know that school is important and education is the key to success!
My Project
After 2 years of being closed, our school library is finally reopening its doors and these materials will make sure that students are excited to check out books and explore new authors and genres.
Students need places to store their books as well as fun and exciting things to do as they browse the library looking for the perfect book.
The library will become the hub of the school and struggling readers will find books that will make their imaginations soar and open their eyes to a world of reading.
