My Students

I love my students because even in the most challenging of times, their second school year of remote learning, they continue to amaze me! They are passionate, excited, and creative. They belong to a PreK to 5 Title I School. They are especially excited when they have access to hands-on materials! It is my obligation to keep my first graders inspired to become lifelong leaders, learners, activists, and caring individuals.

My Project

My first-grade leaders have been learning remotely since last March and have shown tremendous growth! I want to replenish their learn at home bags and keep them motivated for the remainder of the school year. This project will provide them with more books, fiction and nonfiction, to keep them reading! Flair pens are used for writing. Dry erase markers are used for math. The stickers are a little reward for all their hard work! Love my kiddos! They get so excited when they receive any materials, especially books!
