My Students

We will begin the upcoming school year with 20 plus students. Our grade level will go from 5 teachers to 3. I am excited for the upcoming year but also anxious to have so many to care for. Each child has their own special story. I teach in a high poverty school, but each child gives their all each day.

My classroom is a safe place full of love to come to and disappear in learning from 7:45-3:45 each day.

We are an extended day school to provide more opportunities for our students.

My Project

We had a phenomenal year with the readers from DonorsChoose.org last year and we want to build upon that. I am proud to say 80% of my class was on or above grade level. Now looking forward we want 90-100% this year so we need more books on a variety of levels.

Kid's choice is so important.

By donating to this project you impact twenty little people and give them the most basic treasure, the ability to read a variety of leveled books! Sometimes the only thing left to encourage a child to keep working at reading is their choice to pick the book they want to read. Thank you!
