My Students

My brilliant students live in a farming, rural community. They spend a lot of time riding a bus to and from school-sometimes up to an hour each way. They have limited opportunities due to the distance involved to gain world-class experiences.

My luminous students are innovative and thrive on choice.

They get bored, however, using the outdated books currently available. My students love to scan through books to gain first-hand knowledge at the hands of a book for each individual. The classroom books also open the world for the students to share and teach their parents who have little access to materials as well.

My Project

These resources will help remediate students who have fallen behind due to missed school or being online. For example, white boards, erasers, and markers give all students an opportunity to be totally engaged in classroom instruction.

I have seen a lack of confidence in students as they have returned to school.

I believe that wall quotes will promote characteristics they need to develop this confidence by instilling positive affirmations.

I have also requested some much needed items that we have not had the funds locally to acquire for our students.
