My Project

My students and I will be starting off the year with a new curriculum that involves the use of lined whiteboards and magnetic letters for building alphabetic knowledge. As the lessons evolve over time, students will learn how letter sounds can be manipulated to make words and eventually, string words together to make sentences. Simultaneously, students will be learning how to draw pictures to write stories and adding words and sentences to their pictures, using their composition books/journals to work on that trajectory of skills.

Having all these materials at hand will ensure the success of my students as they begin their early literacy journey.
