Help me give my students lifelong literacy with the tools needed to implement Fundations in the classroom, while the student kit will ensure each student has what they need.
This group of students is very diverse. They are creative and present with social, emotional and sensory difficulties. They are learning to balance remote and in-person learning.
This year, my co-teacher and I would like to focus on foundational reading skills.
It is no secret that remote learning is proving to be challenging for students and no doubt even more so, to our most vulnerable students. Incorporating fundations will allow us to create a strong basic skills in reading to help aide our students in attempting to avoid and close any learning gaps that this trying time has created.
My Project
The Fundations teacher kit will provide me with the materials I need to support struggling readers in my classroom. Fundations is research-based and essential to comprehensive reading, spelling, and handwriting.

Every one of my students deserves a strong foundation in which to learn to read. Implementing the Fundations Curriculum will help to supplement my schools curriculum and give students the building blocks they need to become strong, confident, independent readers.
