Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need tools to learn how to read! Research says that children best learn through experience and play. My students need multi-sensory tools to help them learn the letter sounds through play and exploration .

Students will learn letter sounds through play and begin to blend sounds to begin to read .

I am especially excited to give them different options to approach learning the sounds. Some can trace and learn letter shapes using sand trays, others can build words with the light tables and some can use jelly pads to write!
