This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been working on creating a classroom library that draws my students to keep reading. In doing this I have had multiple requests for "the next" book. It has been amazing to watch my students connect to books and want to keep reading.

These book series allow my students to read multiple books in a row, so they can dive deeper into the stories and characters.

My students love a story that continues. They are invested in the characters. When there are multiple books in a series, it keeps them coming back for more.

Too often I have purchased only one or two books in a series only to be chastised by my class. With your generous donation I should be able to keep them happy. Thanks.
