Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing human beings! They are full of life and have endless potential to do so many wonderful things. My school is a Title I school in a poverty-stricken​ community. Our school receives a grant that allows every child to have free breakfast and lunch served at school due to food insecurities at home. Many of our parents struggle to help meet the needs of school supplies and the needs of their children. Regardless of these circumstances, my students overcome! They are learning how to face challenges and grow stronger academically, socially and emotionally preparing them for the next level of life.

I believe that these students deserve every opportunity this world has to offer and I am determined to help them get it.

These students can change the world with their brilliant minds and can climb out of the cycle of poverty through the gift of education. They will learn that the world is theirs for the taking with hard work, dedication, and knowledge.

My Project

In our classroom, we are a FAMILY. When you walk in a student will greet you with a smile and handshake. The walls are decorated with wood and brick. The smell of autumn fills the air. It almost feels as if you're home.

Students who have an environment they want to be in, is an environment they will learn in.

In order to prepare students for the real world, it's important to surround them with an environment that does just that. With your help, these seats will give students options to read and collaborate with others on. Students need seats that they're accustomed to in order to read, lead, and learn from.
