My Students

The students in this self-contained special education classroom love to learn but really struggle to learn in the same time frame as other students. Students want more and more opportunities to learn and need those opportunities to have equal access to knowledge.

My Project

These students need many more opportunities to learn the same content as other students. We needs lots and lots of books in order for these students to grow their reading skills. By having many different books, student's interest will continue to be high and therefore their engagement will be high as well.

Finding books to meet the needs of these students can be difficult and expensive.

Funding this project will go a long way, not just for current students but for student in years to come. Reading is power so let's empower students.
