Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kindergarten students are creative, thoughtful, and very inquisitive! They absolutely love engaging in classroom activities. They come to school each day eager and ready to learn. They love learning math, science, social studies, listening and learning stories, and ELA.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting will make a great difference in my students’ learning. The materials will be used for school. I am requesting face masks, cleaning items, dry erase board erasers, floor puzzles, books, and snacks.

Snacks are essential because my students are often hungry.

My students have breakfast upon arrival at 7:20 am, and they eat lunch at 10:30; they are usually hungry again a couple of hours after lunch. Having snacks available for them will quench their hunger thus making them able to focus on learning. It’s difficult for them to focus when they are hungry.
