Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Last week, I took my students to my schools library and they were super excited. I got the idea to create a classroom library that will inspire them! All of my students are English Language Learners and have IEPs (special education). I want them to fall in love with the beauty of reading. Each book that has been chosen based on students interests.

By donating, you are helping my students find books that inspire them and meet them where they are!

All of my students are 3-4 years below their grade level. Because of this, my classroom library should reflect that!! I am hoping that having new books will create independent readers.
