My Students

My students are curious kids and always have a smile on their faces. We have a phrase that we use several times throughout the day, "You always try your best." That is exactly what we do every single day. They try very hard to have opportunities to be somebody in life.

My students are energetic and curious.

Having the right tools to succeed in the school year, will give them the opportunity to have a great future; because when we try our best, we are the best!

My Project

I am requesting guided reading and read aloud books for my classroom. My students are in need of appropriate guided reading books who will help them learn the skills they need to become fluent readers. The guided reading books will help them recognize sight words, ending sounds, and compound words. If they practice these strategies with the appropriate books they will be able to meet their reading goal! The read-aloud books will help them engage with stories that they will enjoy to listen to. These read-aloud books will also serve the purpose of expanding their inferential questions, reasoning skills; but most of all, it will help them embrace their love for books and reading!
