Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class needs Dual Language resources that will enhance students' learning in the new language. My students need Spanish books and resources to help them practice their listening, speaking and comprehension skills. These books will help my students build vocabulary in Spanish. The Spanish books are some of the students favorites titles that they will enjoy listening to in a second language.

The Spanish pocket chart will reinforce basic Spanish language skills such as syllable identification and word building.

This pocket chart resource has visuals that will help students with comprehension.

The library decodables will engage students with stories, that have rhyming, and high-frequency words in English and Spanish which are ideal for beginning language learners.
