My Project

A lot of learning and having fun has been happening in my building! Students come to school ready to learn and as a Reading Coach and Case Manager, I want to assist everyone with best practices in reading acquisitions. So with the help of my team, we have decided on a resource that will continue to help all students with reading, despite their grade level and ability!

The University of Florida Literacy Institute has a wonderful selection of resources designed to help students with reading.

Their resources are widely used among educators, and I would like for our teachers to be included in this bunch! The teacher manuals we request will allow students an opportunity for daily instruction addressing the pillars of reading to improve reading and reading comprehension skills.

We are on an uphill trajectory with scores in reading, and we believe this resource will continue to help students. During progress monitoring, students have been improving, and this is due to the free resources that we have been able to capture from the UFLI website. Now, it's time for teachers to have their copies so that students can truly benefit and achieve.
