My Project

As a Special Education Teacher, I have to have varied ways to entice my students to read. My students all come from low-income families. They do not have access to books at home. Many of our parents do not have transportation, so getting to the library is very difficult. The children are not exposed to books enough!

Students need exposure to books in order to be successful in school!

Having some new, varied books in the classroom will help them to become interested in reading. Help my students overcome their deficits in reading by supporting my classroom with books!
