My Project

Read alouds play a crucial role in PreK education. They not only foster a love for reading but also support language development in our young learners.

When I read engaging stories to my students, I see their eyes light up with curiosity and imagination.

Through these stories, I introduce new vocabulary and help them develop listening skills that are essential for their future reading success. I love how read alouds create moments for discussion, allowing my students to ask questions and share their thoughts, which promotes critical thinking and comprehension. Ultimately, incorporating read alouds into our daily routine helps build a vibrant literacy environment that nurtures both cognitive and emotional growth in my PreK class.
