My Project

Hello! My name is Mrs. Snead. I teach 4th grade Language Arts at T. Elementary/Middle School. I’m raising funds in hopes of giving each of my 32 students a bimonthly subscription to Scholastic Storyworks.

Storyworks will introduce my students to a variety of different genres, as well as provide them the opportunities to practice ELA skills.

I plan to assign my students a certain day (or days) to read these stories within their reading groups. This will facilitate and nurture group discussions and socialization skills as well.

I hope that these magazine will inspire my students to read. I want my students to look forward to their bimonthly magazine. I feel that children succeed best when given a reason and sense of excitement.
