I teach 3 separate classes of preschool aged children. Their energy and personalities are inspiring with each of them contributing character to our classroom. Watching them gain relational experiences among their peers and the world around them motivates me more and more everyday.
My students are an inquisitive bunch.
Each day we focus on the core components of appropriate social/emotional and academic skills necessary to succeed in Kindergarten and beyond. With that being said, the resources that are provided for them with enhance their preschool experience.
These children's books will provide my students with the necessary skills they need at this young age. The concept books will help teach specific numbers and counting, colors, and alphabet skills my students will become familiar with throughout the school year.
Fairytale and themed books will capture my students attention, leaving them wanting to hear the stories over and over again.
Literacy repetition, in fact all sorts of repetition, is a vital contributor to children's memory and growth development. With these books, my students will be exposed to an inviting classroom library where they can explore the texts independently as well as during small and large group settings.
