Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific items I’m requesting, new Mo Willems books, will make a significant difference in my students' learning by providing engaging, relatable stories that foster a love of reading and enhance their literacy skills. Mo Willems’ books are known for their humor, accessible language, and strong social-emotional themes, which will help my students develop critical thinking, empathy, and communication skills.

My goal for this project is to create a classroom environment where students feel motivated and inspired to explore stories and express themselves.

What makes my students special is their boundless curiosity and unique perspectives. I love how they bring energy and enthusiasm to every lesson, and I know that these new books will further fuel their imagination and strengthen their connection to reading.
