My Project

My students are curious, caring, and love to learn. We hit the ground running from the first day of school through the last, reading, writing, and exploring along the way. Located in an urban district, my classroom represents a diverse range of cultural, linguistic, and academic backgrounds.

I pride myself on providing my students with a rich, diverse classroom library with books that appeal to a wide range of readers.

Having new releases and high-interest books available to my fourth graders is key to hooking even the most reluctant readers. This project will provide my students with many new books, including favorite series like The Babysitters Club graphic novels. Less familiar titles explore topics such as the Thai cave rescue and the 1936 Olympics. We can't wait to start the year off right with new books to read, share, and enjoy!
