My Project

My 7th-grade students love having a classroom library. For the last few years, we did not have a school librarian and our school did not get new titles and books. However, students could still check out and explore books that have been donated previously only in my classroom.

Students help run the library and check out any books they choose.

They may take the books home to read for however long they like. High-interest novels like the Lockdown series and non-fiction books like the Guinness Book of World Records can entice the most reluctant readers. Yet we will need your help and assistance to make these additions to our library a reality. Thank you for considering putting these books in my students' hands.
