Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I will use these bean bags in my reading library during reading centers. My students will have an opportunity to read in a comfortable spot a book that is on their reading level. This will help them build their fluency and comprehension. Please help my students have a love for reading. I hope that this will have my students enjoy reading. So many of my students struggle with reading fluency and comprehension. I want them to love reading so they can become better readers and want to take 15 minutes to read a book in comfort.

I order a-lot of diversity books because majority of my students are students are color and it is extremely important for students to see themselves in their reading.
