My students are a lively bunch of eager learners. The students are an inquisitive bunch that are always excited to learn and discover new things in our classroom, especially books.
Our school is a Title One School and is made up of a dynamic and diverse group of students.
My classroom is an ICT classroom with both General education and Special education students. Many students in the class are new to our country and English Language Learners who have never been in a school setting.
My Project
We would love to support all of our readers by giving them an opportunity to explore the books we have in our classroom. We are very fortunate to have a plethora of books across all genres and content areas. Unfortunately they are not organized well enough for the students to fall in love with reading.
The book bins will be used to create an organized and visually appealing library for students.
An organized and visually appealing library will make it easy for SWD and ENL students to identify genres and content areas in order borrow books on their reading level.
