I teach students with special needs and general education students inside the regular education classroom. My classroom is a very active place! My students are very eager and enthusiastic to find out how, what, and why things work the way they do. The disabilities they face do not hold them back.
Students in my class learn best with hands-on projects that involve an integrated curriculum.
They love science, mathematics and art, so we try to blend these as much as possible. My students love learning.
Using a STEAM approach in the classroom helps motivate students with activities that they truly enjoy while developing academic skills.
My students love to learn and are excited to do new things! They are always on the move and love lessons that keep them active and engaged. They love to be creative and use that creativity to make new things!
My Project
I need 30, 1st grade level reading books to help my students learn about the world around them and become better readers. My students love to learn about new things. It is hard for them to access this information because they struggle with reading.
These books will allow my students to read nonfiction books at their reading level.
It will allow them to access new information and enjoy their learning. They would be able to increase their reading skills and learn more about the world at the same time. This would be an amazing opportunity for my students and my classroom.
