My Students

I have a wonderful group of 20 third graders in my class. I have many students for whom English is a second language and other students who are on Individual Education Plans.

The children in my classroom work so hard to learn English.

Many of them only have the opportunity to practice their English in the classroom. Yet, every day they come in with smiles on their faces and ready to work. They make so much progress throughout the year. I could not be more proud of them.

My Project

In my classroom, we use technology every single day. These Chromebooks will help my children have the opportunity to use technology to show what they are learning. They will be able to learn skills such as research, typing, presentation skills, and computer coding.

With these computers, they can research their writing, science, and social studies.

After this research, they will then have the opportunity to use their other skills to present their projects such as Google Slides or create something with their coding skills. Children who struggle with writing will have the opportunity to type their work. These will also help all my children work on their math and reading through different websites!
