Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Remember your last year in elementary school? My students are entering fifth grade and I get to be the teacher that prepares them for middle school. I have two classes of twenty five students in each. These students will come from different backgrounds with different learning styles. They will range from low performing, average, above average and gifted students.

Although, I will be meeting my students remotely this year, I am sure that they will be a sharp bunch! Year after year I am lucky enough to have energetic, creative and enthusiastic students who share the love for reading, writing and technology as I do.

My Project

These materials will help make communicating with students an easier task. The need to be readily available to assist them is crucial to their success at home. This pandemic has brought a lot of challenges, creating a solution to these challenges is the only way to overcome them.

Using this iPad and these accessories will help me create the digital learning environment needed during this pandemic.

Once we return to schools, the iPad and its accessories will be used in class as part of a technology section. Students will use the iPad to access apps and educational games.
