Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Items will go into replacing a broken whiteboard for students, giving them new dry-erase markers and erasers, and finally cleaning the whiteboard properly!

Students use these whiteboards to diagram, solve, and create complex figures and equations.

In Bilingual Math classes they’re used for teaching English in the context of math and finding similarities and differences between the two languages. Many distinct groups of students use these boards and want to have a more dynamic learning experience. These boards create excitement in the movement and interaction they bring for math class.
