My Students

"Everyone is a reader...Some just haven't found their favorite book yet"

This upcoming school year I am switching positions and will be teaching a very excited group of students with special needs.

This group of learners range in grade levels and ability levels and so I need numerous different types of materials to pique their interest and keep them actively engaged in what we are learning about.

My Project

I use Reading A-Z on a daily basis in my teaching to help find books and activities that are on my students reading level and will help motivate them to continue to read at home. Raz-Kids will help me be able to do the same thing, but on a much more personalized level. I will be able to set up each student with a personalized account, where they will have e-books and activities on their own reading level and different activities to do to challenge themselves to reach a higher reading level. My students will be able to use the iPad and tablets that I have in the classroom to gain access to these resources. They will also be able to use these personalized accounts at home and in their general education classrooms, so they will have numerous times and ways to access this rich reading resource!

Your donations will help me create a rich technology and reading safe space in my classroom, where all of my students will be able to access the curriculum through a personalized, hands on way.

I am very excited to use this product with my students and see the success that will come with it's usage.
