My Project
Children have become acclimated themselves to reading practically everything online. I would like to reintroduce, to my 4th graders, hardcopy books. I am looking forward to completing read alouds, allowing them to checkout and take home books, and spending designated time in class reading. These opportunities will allow my scholars to gain love of reading.
This new library will give my scholars the opportunity to see characters that have a likeness to themselves. One of the most difficult tasks in getting children to read is capturing their attention. These books will give my scholars a sense of pride and ownership of their very own classroom library.
