Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello all! I work with bilingual English/Spanish learners from 8:1:1 and 12:1:1 classrooms. Most of my students are special needs students and have many different communication and reading delays. Many are still learning how to read! My students constantly seek new and exciting material to remain engaged.

Expanding on our speech room library will keep my special needs learners involved and advancing on their reading level.

Thank you for considering donating to help us get new titles in our library. Having access to books in both English and Spanish for my bilingual students will help them feel comfortable with speaking two languages.

I can't wait to see how much progress my speech students and I make this school year. Thank you!
