My students need more books for our classroom library. In this project, I've requested several collections of books to begin a series basket.

My Students
My students and their families have sought out and selected our school to provide an enriching educational environment for their children. Our integrated units of study provide multiple entry points for learning to meet the varied learning needs of all students. Through these studies, students learn how to learn.
They truly take on the roles of researchers, engineers, scientists, nutritionists, and mathematicians.
Almost all families qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. My students understand that they have a place in the world and are more than capable of making an important contribution. They learn to become flexible, resilient, and creative thinkers who are able to work collaboratively and solve problems.
My Project
With these additional titles added to our classroom library, my students will be able to find books they love in a snap! The only problem they will face is having so many great books to choose from! These books are high interest for this age group and can easily be grouped together. Some students won't stop reading until they have read the entire series. Now that's what I'm talking about!
By adding these books to my classroom library, you will make book shopping day the most exciting day for my students!
Other books in this project will go into an Alphabet Books basket. Alphabet books are especially great resources for struggling readers, even though all readers love them! They are highly engaging with excellent illustrations. Some have many words while others are simple. No matter what, there are always a few words kids can identify on each page, building their confidence in their journey to becoming independent readers.
Adding these books to my classroom library will help my students flourish as readers, and more importantly, they will develop a true love of reading.
